SAIC: PRESS KIT

2013 : Print / Packaging

SAIC's communication department felt that their current press kit, a tool used to present the school to potential investors and sponsors, felt generic and outdated. Chris Givens and I felt that if the school was to effectively communicate their innovative nature, their press kit needed to reflect that both in format and content. We therefore proposed a new packaging system that was cost-efficient, flexible, colorful, compact and most importantly, featured the work of SAIC's students and alumni. 

HOLIDAY ART SALE

2013 : Event Signage + Identity

With this campaign I decided to use the 25th anniversary of SAIC's Holiday Art Sale as an opportunity to highlight the postmodern era in which the sale began. The objects sold at the sale, similar to postmodern artwork, are often not as valuable in their functionality as they are in their shocking, quirky, rare, unexpected and imperfect qualities. Students at the SAIC Holiday Art Sale have been offering a fresh take on holiday gifts Since 1988.
